Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Primary Objective is to drive design and implementation of enhancements to self-existing applications based on analytics and profitability. Provide insight and self-directed leadership for revenue
generation in expense savings. Lead the Development and presentation of business cases to implement new self-service initiatives. Design the analytic reporting vision for alternative channels and
present technical finding to a non-technical audience. Partner and lead cross-team collaboration and improve system stability, availability, performance and reliability of alternative channels.
Essential Job Functions:
Alternative Channel Leadership
Self directed leader responsible for generating $1MM in revenue or expense savings through alternative channels
Drive design and implementation of enhancements to existing self service applications based on analytics, profitability and feedback from clients/internal groups
Provide consulting in development and deployment of new capabilities and self service applications
Lead the identification and prioritization of functionality enhancements for the self service channels
Prepare and present findings/proposals to senior leadership with recommendations, including cost benefit analysis, risk mitigation and action plans
Business Opportunity Evaluation and Prioritization
Responsible for the development and presentation of business cases to recommend, prioritize and implement new self service initiatives.
Design and implement vision for analytical and reporting needs for Alternative Channels
Develop relevant design of experiment programs that will identify opportunities for increased profitability within Alternative Channels
Present findings to non-technical audiences, translate business problems into analytical problems, and make connections between business problems and analytical solutions.
Cross Departmental and Strategic Partnerships
Create, motivate and lead cross-team collaboration across business units to deliver on business objectives within Alternative Channels
Partner with cross functional areas such as Capabilities, Retail Systems Development, Six Sigma, Marketing, Risk, and Operations Management in order to assist in designing operational solutions for
new capabilities
Partners in the responsibilities of improving system stability, availability, performance, and reliability of alternative channels.
Coordinate with other product and capabilities owners and stakeholders to co-prioritize self service efforts according to overall Alliance Data objectives.
